Public Interest Opportunity of the Week – U. S. Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce, Office of the General Counsel is accepting applications for its paid and unpaid summer legal internship program. The Department’s mission is to advance economic growth, jobs, and opportunities and has cross cutting responsibilities in the areas of trade, technology, entrepreneurship, economic development, environmental stewardship, and statistical research and analysis. 

A variety of placements are available, including:  International Commerce, Import Administration, National Telecommunication and Information Administration, Economic Affairs, among several others.

The deadline to apply for a summer internship is March 15, 2013.
