As part of the American Health Lawyers Association's initiative to cultivate diversity among attorneys practicing health law, AHLA provides opportunities for a talented law student of diverse background so he/she can learn more about this segment of the legal profession.
To this end, AHLA sponsors a diversity internship program each summer where a rising 3L is offered an eight week internship at AHLA's office in Washington, DC. The intern will have many opportunities to network with current and former leaders of the AHLA and will perform various writing and research duties to support the Association’s publications and Public Interest initiatives.
Application deadline is February 17, 2014.
