Time Reporting
 
For anyone in a position (whether paid or unpaid) that requires you to submit time reports to a supervising person or body, please make sure to report your time adequately and in a timely manner.  Failure to properly report time can lead to discipline from the supervising body or person.  In addition, the supervising body may report such failures to the Board of Law Examiners, which can lead to the Board’s refusal to grant your bar license.  Thus, always be meticulous and accurate with your time reporting.
 
OCI Prep Session Handouts
 
For all students who were not able to attend the On-Campus Interview Program (OCI ) Prep Session on Friday, April 4th, the handouts distributed at the session can be found on the CDO website here.  These handouts include the PowerPoint presentation that was displayed at the information session as well as several informational documents from the National Association of Law Placement (NALP).  If you still have questions about the OCI process, please contact your CDO counselor.

DuPont is proud to announce the 21st Annual DuPont Legal Minority Job Fairs. For 21 years they have led the effort to attract talented law students, with an interest in increasing the number of lawyers of color represented in our law firms and primary legal service companies.

University of Houston has been selected as a participating law school, which means that our students are able to apply and participate. Registration for the Houston, Los Angeles, and Wilmington sites will be completed on a secured electronic site. HACE organizes one day events in Chicago, Houston and New York,to bring  together Latino professionals with hiring managers and recruiters.  In 2013, the Houston Conference had over 400 professional job seekers and 20 exhibitors. Grants up to $3,000 are available for a limited number of law students who serve as legal interns for a minimum of six weeks during the summer of 2014 in the offices of a federal court or agency located within the Southern District of Texas, including but not limited to the following:
