Dates: Thursday, August 16 and
Friday, August 17
What you need to do:
1. SIGN-UP FOR INTERVIEW DATE AND
TIME by August 13th.
Log on to Symplicity (https://law-uh-csm.symplicity.com/).
Click the “Recruiting” tab. Under Session, select “2012 Fall Mock Interviews.”
Choose the type of interview which you would like to have: firm, corporation or
government. Then sign up for a date and time for that particular type of
interview. You can only sign up for one mock interview.
2. RESUME
Your resume must be uploaded under
the Documents link in Symplicity before you schedule your interview.
3. PREPARATION
Our office will try to make your
interview as authentic as possible.
-Review the biography for the
organization that you have selected (firm, corporation, or government) and
prepare general questions about the organization that you would like to ask the
interviewer.
-Dress in interview attire for
your interview.
-Be familiar with the
information on your resume.
-Prepare general questions that
you would like to ask the interviewer.
4. INTERVIEW CANCELLATION
If you have an emergency
necessitating cancellation of your interview, to remain in good standing with
the Career Development Office having access to our resources and programs, you
must send an e-mail at least 48 hours prior to your interview time.
