HBA 8th grade Mock Trial Program

From the Houston Bar Association:

The Houston Bar Association conducts a mock trial program at various 8th grade classrooms within the Houston/Harris County area.  Law Student Assistants will visit a school once a week over a five-week session to teach the elements of a trial, evidence rules, and general preparation for the trial.  This program is unique for two reasons.  First, it is non-competitive.  Second, the students write the crime story themselves.
