The Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department
of Labor is accepting applications for its Honors Programs. Honors Program
attorneys move between the ten divisions of the Solicitor’s Office, gaining
exposure to a broad range of substantive legal work. Upon complete of the
two-year program, Honors Program attorneys continue their careers in public
service in one of the Solicitor’s national or regional offices.
Applicants must be graduating law school in 2013. To apply,
please submit: (1) a cover letter describing your interest in the Honors
Program as well as any personal or professional experience the applicant wishes
the Hiring Committee to consider (2) a resume; (3) a writing sample; and (4) an
official or unofficial law school transcript. Applications must be received by October 12, 2012 and can be
