Application for Diversity Scholarship
The scholarship provides financial support to law students who have demonstrated a commitment to pursuing a career in IP law and enhancing diversity in the legal profession.
Scholarship Award
The diversity scholarship award is $15,000, which may be renewed the following year, and a paid 2014 summer position in one of the firm’s domestic offices.

Eligibility
Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school in the JD class of 2015, must meet Finnegan’s hiring criteria, and must contribute to enhancing diversity. We define diversity broadly. Successful applicants have included members of racial, ethnic, disabled, and sexual orientation groups that have been historically underrepresented in the legal profession.

Students must submit an application, resume, official or unofficial transcripts (law school grades should be forwarded once received), and a 1-2 page personal statement.
