UHLC Graduate Fellowship Program
The deadline to apply for a Graduate Fellowship has been EXTENDED to June 13, 2014.

The UHLC Graduate Fellowship Program is designed to make it possible for our recent graduates who are dedicated to careers in public service to pursue unpaid internships as they await their bar results (August through November). Students are responsible for securing their own placement prior to applying. The Law Center will provide up to $4,500 to a limited number of recent graduates selected for a Graduate Fellowship with a government agency or a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Texas in Washington Recruitment Program

Texas in Washington Recruitment Program will take place in employer offices in Washington, DC on Friday, August 1, 2014.  All accredited law schools in Texas are invited to participate.  Employers will have an opportunity to interview 2Ls, 3Ls, domestic and foreign trained LL.M.s and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation) in their offices.  Please apply and submit all application materials online via the Texas Consortium Symplicity Module at https://law-tx-csm.symplicity.com.  In addition, employers will be able to view application materials and select interviewees online.

Please join us for our traditional end-of-season luncheon at Brennan’s for an update on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality by Chairman Bryan W. Shaw, Ph.D., P.E.  Dr. Shaw was appointed to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality by Gov. Rick Perry on Nov. 1, 2007.  The Texas Senate confirmed his appointment on May 5, 2009, and he was appointed chairman on Sept. 10, 2009.

Networking and registration is from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch and the presentation will begin promptly at noon.  Valet parking is available at a cost of $5.00.  Street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis. Cost for law students enrolled in summer school is $15.00.
