HBA Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession Informational Session

The Houston Bar Association (HBA) Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession (MOILP) hosts various programs to help students in their professional development. Their pinnacle program is the 1L Minority Summer Clerkship and Mentoring Program. This program is designed to provide first-year racial and ethnic minority law students from the Houston area schools with an opportunity to work as a summer clerk in a local law firm, corporate legal department, court, or public sector position. Last year, participating employers hired almost 50 1Ls through the program. An informational session will be held November 5th at Noon in 209 BLB.
