Small & Midsize Career week, the CDO is excited about shifting gears and
focusing on one-on-one sessions with our students. If you have not met with
your counselor for some time and are still looking for summer employment, make
an appointment as soon as possible.

to 2Ls and 3Ls, the Small & Midsize Firm Open House invites local legal
employers to campus to speak to UHLC students about their practice, area of
law, and any available law clerk, summer associate and attorney positions. For

The
Law Center has a long standing commitment to supporting students who volunteer
with legal departments of government agencies and non-profit organizations for
the summer. For a detailed FAQ and application instructions, go to: http://www.law.uh.edu/pil/summer.asp.
The deadline to apply is March 19, 2014. Remember that you must have already
secured your summer placement in order to be considered for this fellowship.
Note that the eligibility requirements have been changed. Students who are working full-time (35 - 40 hours per week) are eligible to receive $400.00 a week for a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 weeks. Students who are working part-time (20 - 34 hours per week) are eligible to receive $200.00 a week only if they work for 10 weeks.
